At The End Of Life

At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done.

We will be judged by 'I was hungry and you gave me to eat, I was naked and you clothed me, I was homeless and you took me in.'

Hungry not only for bread - but hungry for love. Naked not only for clothing - but naked for human dignity and respect. Homeless not only for want of a room of bricks - but homeless because of rejection.

There are millions of children Globaly speaking that are without a Parent and a home!!!!!

To change the world we have a responsibility as adults no matter where we are and what we do to give this some much needed thought...Anyone that has enough Spirit, Soul and Love can adopt a child...it does not take riches...nor does it take the "perfect setting" as to relationship factor" ( I am a single mom ) It is said do not gather your "riches here within the material... do so within the kingdom of heaven...Anyone can ADOPT A CHILD...

It is truly disturbing that in this day and age, where so many drum together for the "Enlightenment of the Planet" are completely forgetting that one of the fundamental successes of the past was simply these two notions... It takes a Entire Village to take care of ONE child...and also it's Elders...

In this day and age it has become completely out of control, we are systematically pushing our Elders in Nursing Homes...we applaud heart warming stories as we hear them...we cry when we see poverty stricken countries and it's children...In this country alone, which is probably still the "Richest Nation on the Globe" there are thousands upon thousands of children waiting, for arms to open to embrace them and bring them home... How is it that we can have commercials about cell phones and the ringtones we now can add, be running time after time on TV, yet when is the last time you saw a commercial about adopting a child...???? Or heard something on the News or Radio on the daily basis...when is the last time you went to the movies and saw an Ad promoting adoption...have we run out of ideas...or could it be as we casually go on with our daily doings that we "simply forget"...I know it is easy to not think about it...if not forced down ones mind daily right!?....Like these commercials...for instance...Well I am standing up for "Changing The World" AGAIN...by doing this...the time is now...

How is it that we can go peacefully to sleep each night thinking about "Changing The World"...while that very second there are millions of children without a home...A TRUE HOME....does it not somewhat sit uncomfortable with the "Spirit"...it did mine...I adopted three African American Children 10 years ago...all three were addicted to drugs at birth, labled with numerous disabilities...Miracles each one of them...My oldest weight 1 lbs 2 ounces at birth....My daughter 2 lbs...my youngest I took home directly from the hospital at just 3 lbs and he was already three weeks old...take a look at their pictures on my profile...Changing The World Indeed...I did...what about you...I would do this again and again...and probably will God Willing... WILL YOU???? Change the world that is...of a waiting child?
